I had the pleasure of being asked to assist Adrien Field, an established fashion stylist and style editor of VIBE Magazine. It was an editorial shoot for an upcoming magazine, Vaga. As the day progressed, I realized just how talented Adrien is at what he does. Every time we’d put a model into a look, he would almost immediately know whether or not it would work for the shoot.

Something pleasant and unexpected was just how easy Adrien was to work with. He also encouraged me to give suggestions and opinions on the looks. Together, we managed to plan several different looks for the four locations of the shoot, and keep the models looking amazingly dressed.

I’d definitely be interested in working with Adrien in the future and definitely learned a lot from him in just one day of shooting. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out Vaga Magazine online.…
